From the Bar area there are stunning view of the West Dorset Countryside and the Coastline with its ‘World Heritage’ status. The park and facilities benefit from over 35 years of improvement and enhancements by the family directors.
This is the ideal place to meet up with friends and family and enjoy a choice of beers and lagers including real ale from Palmers the local brewery and food from many local suppliers.
The Bar & Restaurant are open every evening and sunday lunch from mid March to the beginning of November and non residents are welcome. During the peak holiday times the daily opening hours are extended and we open earlier in the evenings and stay up throughout the day at weekends – please enquire for details
The bar and restaurant provide a quiet location to enjoy a family meal with an interesting and varied menu. Immediately outside the bar we have a patio area with an area for children to play for those peaceful evenings when it is possible to enjoy the spectacular views across Bridport and the Coastline.
During peak season we have entertainment on selected evenings during the week with a small dance floor to complete your the evening. We have a number of televisions in the bar including a large screen for sports events together with a games room providing pool tables and other amusements to some fun to your evening.
There are a variety of different rooms and an interesting feature of the Leisure Club is it contains probably one of the largest private collections of Fire Service Memorabilia including cap badges, buttons, models, helmets, pictures and fire service equipment – it even includes a 1936 Leyland Fire Engine and a 1902 Merryweather Steam Fire Engine.
